the bhy home project
After my divorce I built a home completely from scratch, on my own terms. Every room was designed around the life I actually wanted to live, a space that felt safe, inspiring, and completely mine. This project was not just a house transformation. It was the first time I understood that environment and identity are inseparable. This home became the inspiration for Best Her Yet.

I'm obsessed with how the kids' bathroom came out.

I had these build-ins added after I moved in and don't regret it one bit!
Styling bookshelves is one of my favorite things to do! It is important to me to never compromise on functionality, so adding simple baskets is an easy way to hide kid clutter and keep breakables out of reach.
I made this painting with my oldest son. One of my favorite ways to add personal touches is through custom artwork.
I added this shelf with simple materials from a hardwood store. It makes all the difference to have a drop zone when first entering the home.
